Springer Bars part 1
You don't get the cool little stubs or have the option of using the Cro's nest upper clamp on modern springer and the hardware that mounts the stock risers is quite unsightly. Here is the beginnings of my solution. I machined, out of stainless these things that will bolt down where the risers did. Next I will make a cool bridge between them . The plan is to weld the bars directly to the side of each of these to keep everything as open as possible and give me the rise and lay back that I'm looking for without getting to wide. In the meantime my argon gas bottle for my TIG is out getting retested and I will not get it back for a week so after machining the little stuff I will be dead in the water again.
